Chi Ieng's one unforgettable hour - meeting with Fahrenheit

Chi Ieng, who is living in Macau, is a trendy youngster. She likes the popular boy-band from Taiwan, "Fahrenheit", very much. When we visited her, she was a little shy in expressing her wish - "to meet up close and personal with the members of Fahrenheit."

The Wish Child excitedly informed us later that she completed all treatments and might return to school within a short period of time. Of course, she was much more longing for the concert of "Fahrenheit" in Macau in mid-September and she got tickets in the front row through the support of her Aunt. In fact, she was most thrilled by the notice from Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong; she would be allowed to tour around the concert venue one day before the show.

As a super fan of "Fahrenheit", Chi Ieng brought a lot of her collection with her which put us in an uproar since it is only "a trip around the backstage". She was excited when she heard the boys were singing at the time, and she asked us to check whether she could meet with the group. Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong always brings unforgettable memories to Wish Children. Chi Ieng, at this time, was granted a full hour of joy and happiness!

Chi Ieng's wish and sharing...

I've been a fan of Fahrenheit for more than 3 years. I attended their activities and saw concerts before. However, I always wished to chat with them personally. The staff of Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong informed me that it was arranged for me to pay a visit to the performance venue on 18th September (one day before the concert). I immediately became very excited.

When I was waiting outside the Cotai Arena, and I knew they were doing rehearsals inside, I was not sure if I could see them and I felt anxious... When the staff brought us into the backstage area, I had more and more intense feelings. While waiting in a lounge, I heard song after song from the front stage; I could not help stop from singing along with them. After a while, we were invited to visit another room; I was surprised to see that "Fahrenheit" was waiting for me! I was so shocked at that moment that I could not say a word!

Enthusiastic Jiro talked to me in Cantonese with a Taiwanese accent; shiny Calvin paid tribute to my Mandarin; gluttonous Zun  received snacks I sent, and then curiously asked me where I had bought them, and cool Aaron asked about my current situation. Although I had met with them for only an hour, I was deeply impressed by their friendliness and they made me feel very nice and warm. It was very touching.

To give Chi Ieng the best memories, the staff of Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong took photos for her at the scene, and invited "Fahrenheit" to record an encouragement video for her. Tears of the Wish Child came out while the video camera was on; she was too happy and excited! After the meeting, Chi Ieng, holding her collection with her idols' autographs, had a rich buffet dinner with her aunt; this marked the perfect end to her unforgettable Wish Day.
