About Kids For Wish Kids®

Kids do it all - from brainstorming fundraising ideas, developing a plan of action, to seeing their idea come to life. Teachers and parents often serve as advisors, but ownership of the project belongs solely to the kids involved. Participants will see how their time and enthusiasm can change the lives of kids in their community.

Fundraising examples include:
Create a ‘Wishing Well’
Place a well built out of recycled materials to collect wishes or spare change.
Collect Wishes
Encourage children to write their wishes or words of encouragement on our wish cards and hang them on a wishing tree.
Dress in Blue
A special casual wear day where everyone wears blue to support Make-A-Wish® Hong Kong
Donate Wish Red Packets
Let children write their wishes or words of blessings on the red packets received at Chinese New Year and donate.
In addition to helping in getting wished granted, students walk away with a better understanding of:
  • Value of community service
  • Money management
  • Volunteerism
  • School spirit
  • Leadership skills
  • Team work
  • Entrepreneurship
